SL Connections Updates

Hello all, I am announcing that due to our rapid growth in such a short amount of time we will need to migrate our platform to a new, more cost affective web host. This will keep the platform fair and affordable for everyone, not to mention we will be able to add more features to increase the quality of life for our members. This will not be done all in one day but over the course of 1 - 2 week(s). This time frame allows for everything to be moved over behind the scenes before relaunching the live site on the new server. All of your information should be transferred over with little to no issues.

In the case that we encounter a loss of any stored data such as profile information, premium, boost, or credit balances / exp dates, we will quickly reapply that for everyone and give a little extra for any inconvenience that takes place. Announcements will be made before the live site is swapped. During this time expect a short outage.

Hello everyone, you may have noticed earlier in the day we were experiencing a slight issue with loading profiles, photos and other such things on the site. This was due to the amazing growth we have experienced and we needed to obtain more server space! While this may have caused a minor inconvenience, its one that i personally love to have because that means we are growing, and rapidly!

The server space has been expanded and the site is now operating normally. As always if you encounter any issues, bugs, or concerns submit a support ticket. Thank you again for all of your continued support!

We’ve rolled out another major update focused on making it easier—and more fun—to connect with other residents!

💬 New & Improved Messaging

Message Your Matches — Mutual matches can now message each other directly from their profiles.

♥ MATCHED Badge — When you and another resident mutually match, you’ll see a special MATCHED badge on their profile. Only the two matched members can see it.

📸 Send Photos Privately — You can now share photos directly in private conversations with your matches.

😊 Emojis in Chat — Emoji support has been added to chats to make conversations a little more expressive.

🔴 Live Chat Notifications — The Live Chat button now displays a red unread-count badge when new messages are waiting. No annoying popups!

🍓 A New Gift!

Hello everyone, just posting a friendly reminder that after you create your profile and want it to go public you must enable “show Profile In Discovery” this check box is located on the bottom of your profile edit screen. You must ave profile after doing so!

If you do not complete this step your profile remains private until you enable it.

I also want to take this time to say we are 51 members strong so far! I’m beyond grateful that you all have joined and giving it a try! Thanks again everyone!

Want to chat with everyone at anytime without having to match with them first? Well, now you can! Introducing the new Live Chat section located at the top of the page. The live chat is treated as a chat room where everyone can chat with each other at any time.

*Please read the chat room rules, failure to follow the rules could lead to your account being silenced from the chatroom. Repeated rule violations after being silenced / unsilenced could lead to further action including account suspension or termination (perm ban)

Boosted Profiles: Boosted profiles are now also shown on the home page. When you activate your monthly or purchased boost you will appear on the home page and also have a Boosted Profile Icon.

Boost Purchases: Profile Boosts can now be purchased separately for those that do not want the other Premium Membership perks. You can purchase a 24h, 48h, 72h, and 1 week boost level. This is now available at both inworld locations.

Membership Price Adjustment: The prices remain the same for premium membership but there was an error when creating the length of time. The length of time is now 30 Days, 60 Days, and 90 Days. Those have already purchased memberships will keep their current plan until it expires or until the next payment is made.

Profile Set Up Reminder: Please remember to check the box on the bottom of your profile creation that states "Show In Discover" If this is not enabled your profile will remain private and no one will see you!
