Community Guidelines

Be genuine
Use an account and avatar identity you control. Do not impersonate another resident, falsify verification, misrepresent yourself to manipulate others, or operate replacement accounts to evade enforcement.
Respect boundaries
No harassment, threats, stalking, unwanted sexual conduct, coercion, hate-based abuse, doxxing, or repeated unwanted contact. A match or prior conversation does not create an obligation to continue interacting.
Adults only
SL Connections is for adults age 18 or older. Do not create accounts for minors, solicit minors, or use the platform to facilitate sexual content involving minors or age-play that depicts minors in sexual contexts.
No scams or exploitation
Do not use SL Connections for fraud, phishing, malicious links, credential theft, financial scams, extortion, trafficking, or deceptive schemes. Never ask another resident for their Second Life password.
Respect privacy
Do not publish another person's private information without permission. Do not misuse information learned through SL Connections, including screenshots, messages, real-world details, or in-world identity information.
Use content you have rights to
Only upload or link photos and other content you own or are authorized to use. Do not infringe copyrights, trademarks, privacy rights, or other rights.
Reporting problems
Use the SL Connections Support & Reporting system to report harassment, safety concerns, bugs, technical issues, payment problems, or other site-related concerns. False or knowingly abusive reports may themselves violate these Guidelines.
Moderation and appeals
Staff may warn, restrict, suspend, or ban accounts and may block avatar UUIDs or IP addresses when proportionate to documented abuse or ban evasion. If an enforcement action appears to be a mistake, contact support@slhearts.com with your account information and a concise explanation.
